Hi, my name is Jane Seo, and I am probably overthinking this introduction right now.

Jane's Story

I am a New York-based writer, runner, and dreamer. Originally from South Korea, my academic journey took me to Harvard University where I majored in Social Studies and Psychology. During my time at Harvard, I spent countless hours in the newsroom as an editor for The Harvard Crimson, learning that the best stories often come from unexpected places.

I built my career around strategic partnerships and relationship building at places like Bain & Company, Google, Verizon, and Lemonade. I've always been drawn to the entrepreneurial side of life, from launching an anti-theft fashion brand Raydon to blogging about travels and restaurants. When I'm not writing or building partnerships, you might find me running or biking the streets of New York...or probably overthinking my latest text message exchange.

Why Jane Writes

There's something powerful about putting internal thoughts into words and discovering you're not alone in having them. Every post is my attempt to bridge the gap between the confident professional I am at work and the overthinking person I am everywhere else.

Think of this blog like marathon training, like building endurance for vulnerability. Just like I had to start with short runs before working up to a full marathon, I'm starting with small truths and working toward bigger ones. Some days the writing feels easy, other days every word is a struggle. But the goal isn't to sprint to perfect authenticity, but to build the stamina to keep showing up honestly, mile by mile, post by post.

I write for fellow overthinkers, quiet processors, and anyone who's ever left a conversation wishing they'd said what they actually thought. This blog is my practice space for being more authentic, one vulnerable post at a time.
